住みやすい住環境を確保するため、今後も自然環境と調和した魅力あるまちなみ形成を図っていきます。そして既存集落においては、地域の特性を生かしながら、大島であい公園などのコミュニティ活動の拠点を整備していきます。また、第二名神自動車道の早期整備の要望や、利便性、安全性確保のために生活道路の整備を進め、鉄道や路線バスの運行については、一層の利便促進を図ります。 　上水道については、水質の向上や適正な水源の確保に努め、下水道では効率的な維持管理体制の整備を行っています。 　周辺の自然環境や歴史文化と調和した空間をつくり、また、災害対策、少子・高齢化対策に向けた住環境を確保し、いつまでも住み続けたいと思えるまちづくりを進めています。

In seeking to forge an urban landscape that is harmonized with the natural environment, we are moving forward in the development of parks and other sites where community activities are conducted and in the development of community roads for which the elements of convenience and safety have been secured. With respect to the local waterworks, we endeavor to improve water quality and secure an appropriate water supply and are upgrading to an efficient system for maintaining our sewage system.
